A young man journeys into the Norfolk countryside to discover the untold history of the UK’s rural communities. ‘After the Fruit Farm Finished’ examines the past 70 years of one village’s story through conversations with three long term local residents who experienced the introduction of running water and mains electricity into the village, the closure of the local fruit farm, and the decline of commerce in the village. This film combines poetic, expository and participating forms of documentary storytelling to examine one of the UK’s most under explored communities.
