Peng Zigui and Xu Jianning, a lesbian couple from China, chose to be together and come to the UK to study together, despite knowing that their families were unlikely to accept their relationship. They have tried to enjoy every day with each other in the UK, but they both plan to return to China after graduation, which means their relationship will soon face challenges from both family and society. What's at the end of the rainbow? Will they eventually choose to break up, return to their families, and find a man to marry and have children following the traditional Chinese social culture? Or will they remain firmly together and rebel against their families together? We'll see.
